There is an Alpha, but I don't really see the difference 
between Alpha and Beta, as I have talked with one person that 
says they are running a version of Cairo at a University. Now 
this may be crap, but most people agree that an NT with the 
object oriented interface in WIN95 is well under way in the 
Alpha stage.
