I myself have played over both a serial port connection and a network and have run into very similar problems, rather than being a hardware problem I think its the fact that the demo is crap. > 2.) I usually get both players on top of a mountain in the desert scenario and in the ice world? scenario one player dosen't get any scenery, just a flat surface, and has the ability (when viewed from the other computer) to run through hills etc. > 3.) The game sometimes slows down and unpredictable things happen > such as the enemy mech appearing to be only a few inches tall. A hang > usually follows. I have the same problem although I put it down to the fact that one of the computers only has 8 MB of RAM usually I get a warning that RAM is low, which is somewhat strange considering you can play the same game twice over, the first time fine, the second time it crashs or gives me this RAM crap. > Also, is there any way to make my 2 button analog joystick any less > sensitive? It's hard to use because it flails me around wildly. Thats what the latest patch is supposed to fix I believe it can be obtained at ftp://ftp.crl.com/users/sl/slally/MW2GIDDI.EXE or you can email that ACTSEARCH guy and he will email it back to you. > Oddly I haven't heard a word on the .net about any of these problems. > Help? You should probably try reading the actual MW2 newsgroup, although many servers (including mine) don't carry it. In my opinion the sooner Activsion get the Net Mech upgrade out the better, they are only loosing sales and public image by continued delays. Aden.
