MW2 Net Demo Problem: Help!

Hi,
A friend and I have been playing MW2 with network demo over modems and
we have been experiencing some problems. I understand that this is
just a demo but I was wondering if anyone else has the same problems
or if anyone else has been able to fix them.

1.)	The game often hangs during play. One player (usually the one
who made the call) is still playing while one gets locked up.

2.) When we start the desert senario one player starts at the top
of a mountain. The smaller mechs without jump jets have no chance of
getting down without falling and taking critical damage.

3.)	The game sometimes slows down and unpredictable things happen
such as the enemy mech appearing to be only a few inches tall. A hang
usually follows.

I have not installed the latest patch ( or any patch for that matter )
because the problem that it's supposed to fix is described as a
different one from mine.

Also, is there any way to make my 2 button analog joystick any less
sensitive? It's hard to use because it flails me around wildly.

Oddly I haven't heard a word on the .net about any of these problems.
Help?

					Thank you,
						John.
