This Need for Speed thread just gets longer and longer. NFS is weird. I've seen some of the strangest effects. These are my results of my NFS trials. My P90 VGA Fine, but blocky SVGA Smooth as silk. My DX4/100 VGA Fine, but blocky SVGA Smooth as, but jumpy in modem games. Work's DX4/100 VGA Fine & blocky SVGA Smooth as Funny but after the EA logo, the video sequence at the start and the auto demo is really slow and jumpy. When you start a game and replay that, however, everything is back to normal in VGA & SVGA. Friends DX4/100 VGA Fine & blocky SVGA Slow & jerky? Friends DX2/66 VGA Fine & blocky SVGA Quite smooth. Only I loaded the Tsenglab driver, though. So there you have it. If the EA people would like to post a tech faq to this board explaining why only certain motherboards and certain graphics cards appear to be supported then I for one would love to hear from them.
