MK3 vs. SSF2T

I'm in the market for a new fighting game and I was wondering
whether to get SSF2T now or wait for MK3 to come out. From what
I've been told SF seems like the best fighting game out there,
from a purely fun fighting type of play as opposed to PR which
has a lot more blood and gore. So, if I wanted to get the best
*fighting* game, it would be ssf2t right now. My question is
how MK3 plays. I'm not much of an arcade person, so I don't
know. But, I've heard that it wasn't as good as MK2, again from
a fighting point of view. The graphics must certainly be better
and there is the novelty to consider. But, if I just wanted to
have the all around best fighting game, fighting being
stressed, which one should I get?
