Many times, just never got an answer. Over the phone they bounce you
around to different numbers, none of them toll free, who say they
can't help you either. (after 15 minutes on hold)

The major advantage that PCGamer does have is that they are the only
ones to get some of the best demos on their demo CD. I would love
to be able to buy just the CD and forget the magazine altogether.
They were the only ones to have a WC3 demo, Full Throttle Demo, Dark
Forces, etc, and were the first by far to have the Dig and Druid (
although the latter did not work at all). With the number of CD only
games out today, very few demos lately have been small enough to download
within a few hours over modem.

It would be nice if some of the other magazines would pick up the slack
and publish demo CDs with actual meat on them in a timely manner. After
all, they already cost more than PC GAmer does. Strategy Plus has
published their first SP demo cd this month, and so far it is the closest
I have seen to the quantity of demos as on the PCG one.
