I downloaded the Trian game from ftp.uml.edu today and scanned it again. The correct infected file names were helpme.exe and order.exe. IBM Antivirus said they were "probably" infected with TaiPan-438. According to the IBM docs, TaiPan-438 installs itself in memory and copies itself to exe files that are executed later. Other than the wasted disk space there are no other known destructive side effects with the virus. It is also know as Whisper. I deleted the infected files, and have played the game with no detected problems. Tyrian is a great game. Bruce Mealey
