So I'm guessing the last console you played was...an original NES? Since
the SNES there have been save games on consoles. Though, judging by your
attitude, that might be have been before your time.

I'm sure that I speak for most people when I say you've worn out your
welcome here on the console-related groups. Go away.

"we"? Is that the royal we, or are have these mental blows to your head
caused your nearly non-existant personality to splinter into multiple
parts? Do all PC gamers like foam at the mouth and stop making logical
sentences too?

You can backups of your save game files. In fact, it's a lot easier with
a console than with Windows, where each game tends to bury its savegame
directory under its own hierarchy.

BTW, why is this even an issue?

You keep saying this over and over, yet you haven't provided real
information or proof. What, did someone tell you that Steam is a threat to
your penis or something? Does your daddy drive a delivery truck filled with
video game boxes? There are some valid concerns about Steam - yet you
haven't even addressed those. Instead you wail on and on with the same old
incorrect argument. Free clue here, learn the difference between a
*developer* - who would use Steam, and a *publisher*, who doesn't.

Now then, go away. Someone needs a nap, and probably a diaper change.
