>"centralized folder for game saves" >pure cosmetic! we don't need it! no thanks microsoft! Pure cosmetic? Years ago I was a PC gamer and I would have loved that feature. It's so much easier to backup the saved games files when you reinstall your PC. >"auto-updates" >oh yes, i bet microsoft is thinking about a steam like thing for windows >but we will not use it! NO TO STEAM LIKE TECHNOLOGIES! they are intrusive >and against consumer rights! and putting steam and microsoft together >would have the destructive damaging force of a megaton bomb for pc games I love auto-updates. I don't want to have to look for patches for every piece of software I own, it takes forever , especially if you consider that I have many PCs and multiple OSes running on vitual machines. Great feature, love it, I save a lot of time. >we don't want to be forced in buying EXTRA SUPERFLUOUS CRAPPY microsoft >made hardware to play games! Hmm. Never heard of companies named Sony and Nintendo? > we don't want more monopoly from microsoft! > they have already monopoly in operating system we don't want them to have > monopoly in gaming hardware! > never accept playing games in any type of consoles! > games are to be played in a pc! > long live pc games! Nah... PC games are okay (I play them occasionaly) but nothing beats a console IMHO for the following reasons: - Nothing beats a couch (ok, maybe the Battlechair can beat it but it's quite expensive: http://www.battlechair.com ) - There's no way I'm gonna have a game party with 10 friends beside my computers. 10 friends, beers and a 1500$ PC don't go well together. And it's much cheaper to own two XBOXes for LAN parties at home than two PCs (I own two XBOXes for this reason and it's great). - I'm tired of upgrading PC parts every second year to play games. A video card to play Doom 3 cost the same as the latest XBOX package (XBOX + MechAssault Lone Wolf). - XBOX Live. Great service. I bought the MS SideWinder Game Voice. It's almost impossible to find someone who has that kind of functionnality on a PC. It looks like no one cares about that kind of feature in the PC world. I don't see any reason I would want to play a game on my PC when I have an XBOX hooked to 51" HDTV television. It's awesome and it beats PC games by far (IMHO again, but to each his own). Only Age of Empires brings me back to my PC now and then.
