You need to study history a little more carefully, my friend!

The Jews were the first group targeted for systematic victimisation by
the Nazis, not some group that was singled out "toward the end of the
war".  Brownshirt thugs were singling out Jews for bashings and
murders and burning down their houses and businesses well before the
Nazis even seized control of the apparatus of the German State.

After the Nazis came to power, Jews were systematically deprived of
their political and civil rights.  They were the earliest and most
victimised group under the Nazi regime.  Even at the beginning of the
war, the mass arrests, imprisonments and murders by the SS and Gestapo
were well under way.

If you can't come at reading any proper historical account of these
events, try reading "Mein Kampf" instead - you will probably enjoy it.
Hitler was clearly obsessed by the same ugly, paranoid ideas that you
espouse.  Anyone who truly understands the depth of Hitler's hatred
and vilification of the Jews will know how implausible it is that the
Jews watched in comfort while the Nazis suppressed the Gypsies,
Communists, dissenting academics, trade unionists etc etc etc.  The
Jews always were the prime scapegoat of the Nazis and were sacrificed
accordingly.
