I've had my Wingman Digital Extreme for almost a year now, and it's recently
started doing something strange. If I'm playing a game, say, BattleZone, and
leave the joystick at dead-centre, then just slightly move it, in any
direction, the game reaction will be unpredictable--for example, the gun
sights on my tank will jump and skitter about if I just slightly nudge the
joystick. Then, once I push the joystick a bit farther from center (in any
direction), the gunsights move predictably.  But at and near center, it's
very "skittery"--don't know the right word. This is the same in other games.
Also, after recalibrating the joystick, I get the same problem--when it's at
center, it jumps around erratically.  I've downloaded the latest Wingman
software, and I'm running a clean Win98 install.  Don't know what else to
try.  Should I bother taking the thing apart and checking for dust or bad
connections?

Any other ideas?  Thanks.  (Also, please reply by e-mail, if possible--I
