You know, it really seems to me that OS/2 fanatics find it hard to believe that Microsoft may have actually developed a comperable operating system to OS/2. All those years of "WinDOZE" bashing has left a pretty stiff mindset in their heads. Well, I gotta tell ya, Windows 95 delivers the goods, all this damn near the first attempt. Practically 100% compatibility with DOS and Windows 3.1 applications, a kick butt interface, and improved performance. And you know the greatest thing, given Microsoft's marketing power, it will be the dominant OS by this time next year. I can play all my previous DOS and Windows games on it (TIE Fighter, Xcom, Doom, Dark Forces, Harpoon for Windows) without a hitch. And there is a definate improvement when I run them too. Installation was a snap, absolutely no hassles. I'm not making this up, it's true. Windows 95 delivers! Fulcrum Brown, University of Washington, aka Bill Gate's big neighbor
