Now I can see where Rin is >coming from with his mouse-bind microswitch strafe. Sort of. Part of it is that because of the weight of the two digits in question (middle finger on the right mouse button, and thumb for space bar) relative to the pressure required for the switch. The result is kind of "erring on the side of a press", if that makes sense. If in doubt, the switch should engage. So you'll be pressing it alot, sometimes even accidentally, but that's ok if it's only a strafing movement (actually helps you be a moving target). The same strategy would not work if you put a heavy finger on something like the left mouse button, because accidental fire is never a good thing (loss of ammo, noise reveals your position, might friendly fire a teammate, etc). It produces some wicked results in games where you frequently get in one on one shootouts, down a long corridor, with something like a sniper rifle or railgun. I come out ahead in those shootouts most of the time (not bragging, just saying my strafe method is usually better than the oppositions. Not always).
