I guess they look at it as an advertising - a loss-leader to get people to the store as it were - but I think GOG is big enough that such tactics really aren't warranted. It's great for the customers but if I was CFO I would be grinding my teeth... Personally, I just wish there was an app that would let me combine my libraries from Steam, GOG, Origin, UPlay and all the rest into one big list so I could see all the games I own without having to check multiple clients (useful for when I'm trying to decide what to play... or whether I should buy a game). Apparently there were efforts in this direction but they are all feature-incomplete or the projects have stalled. :-(
