I finally got around to trying this out.  (Geez, 6 months it's been sitting there?!)

I'm a bit torn on this, and if I want to purchase the whole thing.  

It does seem more like a minor interactive movie more than a game.  Even my wife commented sitting across the room, asking if I was watching a long movie.  I found it somewhat enjoyable.  What little combat in the game seemed pretty lackluster, I felt like it could've done better and felt less like I was flailing about not knowing what I was doing if they'd just make it 'press any key' instead of their 'press this key in limited time' thing.

I had to shut the game down after doing the detective thing, and it didn't save my progress there, and it felt like an absolute chore to do it again.  It says that your choices have an effect on outcomes, but it really doesn't seem like it has any replay value based on that, as just going through that part again felt like a total slog.  

Apparently I'm a totally normal guy as it gave me the percentages of which things people chose throughout the game, and every singe one I had chosen with the majority, which really surprised me.

Has anyone played the full game?  Does it get better, worse, about the same?
