I probably should have given the reason for the clarification - you wouldn't believe some of the shit I've been falsely accused of pretending to have done in this newsgroup in the past. Granted, most of those people have been killfiled, but as far as I know they still make a part-time job out of putting my posts under a microscope. I figured at least one of them was going to think I was somehow saying I had piloted planes before. The bomber gunner would have been a bit more difficult for my "dubious fanbase" to reposition to their liking, but I've seen some pretty old planes still flying so you never know.
