It often makes for depressing reading. I do sometimes wonder what type
of person makes those bile filled posts at what seems to be every
opportunity. Are they really just "trolling"? Or are they really that
screwed up in the head?

One person on the NMS reddit wants Sean Murray to have his reputation
ruined, have any monies that he made from working on the game taken
away, and be prevented from working in the industry on anything ever
again.

I never really followed the hype that preceded the release of the
game, but I have watched some of it since to see what the "lies" were.
A few things I think I can get on board with. Many things though seem
to be down to people's interpretation, or there just does not seem to
be any tangible foundation to them at all that I can find.

I have read several posts (not about torrenting the game though) where
people seem to genuinely feel that they should be entitled to a refund
on their purchase despite admitting to playing the game for 40 or even
60 hours plus before deciding they were disappointed with how it
turned out.

Time will tell for NMS and Hello Games I guess. There is supposedly
more content coming for the game. I have already read that some people
have torches lit and pitchforks at the ready for when any content
update is released, purely out of 'revenge' for how they were "lied to
and ripped off" over the main game. 

So, even if the content improves and fixes the game to most people's
satisfaction, this subset of people are going to go ahead and
slaughter everything and anything that they can in the name of
revenge.

I'm glad I'm my idea of a normal person.
