I have Skyrim but haven't had >time to install and start a game. I've played Skyrim off and on, but the Fallout games really hold my interest more than non-stop fantasy circle strafing. It also throws Ice Trolls at you way too early, and they are hands down harder to fight than even the dragons. All I've been able to do is run from them so far. As a result, I've only got about 25 hrs. in Skyrim, though I keep it installed, always meaning to come back to it, but usually finding something more interesting to play. At this point, since I got my 1080 GTX, Nvidia has me running it in 3840x2160 DSR with maxed out settings. It makes the Steam interface really tiny. But I'm mostly doing a second run of Fallout 4 and playing DOOM. A few short sessions of vanilla Endless Legend evens things out. I should throw some mods at it. Any suggestions? Is Oscuro's Overhaul for Skyrim any good? What else is good? What monsterous mods can I throw at a single 1080 and still run at 60 fps in 1920x1080? I would be willing to drop it to native 1920x1080 for the frame rate. DSR doesn't really grab me; seems like a really taxing way of doing FSAA, and not really all that well. It just makes all the edges fuzzy. Since I don't want or need 4k gaming and I *do* want 60 frames, consider a 1080 driving a 1920x1080 60 Hz monitor.
