It looks like AMD is coming out with a new card that might be what you're looking for if you're stuck on them.

I still won't use them after I burned a couple up, literally, years ago.  They're prone to heat issues, and draw considerably more power than the nVidia (hidden cost to the AMD).  From my recent checking, they still have those problems.
