Yes I have seen them too, no big issue for me. I had an electrician recently in the house who has wired a Cat6a ethernet cable to the television stand. The reason was, among other problems, that the NVidia Shield had problems with Powerline 500 based protocols, and I was using such a device up until recently (Ethernet over Coax which was using the powerline protocol, quite an interesting technology definitely better than raw powerline, but also has its fair share of problems) Either way, WIFI seems to be a problem with the Steam link, however lan seems to work fine.
