I played The Fall a few months back on iOS (and finished on PC, because touchscreen controls suck). It generally got poor reviews - especially the PC version, as it was an unenhanced port of the mobile versions - but I sort of liked it. It's very much "DeusEx-lite"; it feels a lot like an introductory adventure to bring new gamers into the DeusEx universe, and in this it succeeds fairly well. The complex conspiracies and multiple-paths-for-every-encounter of the main games can be a bit overbearing to new users. There is conspiracy and optional paths in The Fallen but in general the game is a more streamlined action title; just the thing to show off what the main games are really about. If The Fall has one major fault it was its ending... or the lack of one. It is basically a three-act story that ends after the first act. The game is too short and lacks any climax. I believe the original goal was to continue the story with DLC/in-app purchases but, alas, that never happened...
