If you have a DX4100 or P90 or better you'll be OK. Hi-Octane is almost unlpayable on a DX266 w 12MB. SS5000 is a bit better on the 66 but still on both games, controlling your craft is tough. I also found the graphics to be richer on Hi-Octane. The two player mode on ss5000 is either network or split-screen. I have not tried ss5000 with more than 2 people so I can't say how well it plays. It does say on the box not to try more than 4 people if the machines are DX266s. Tried playing Hi-Octane network but never could get more than 3 people running the game without crashing when it was trying to connect. This was the initial release version (that actually had a beta version number) so there might be some patches out there. Bottom line, if you're gonna buy, Hi-Octane's your game. clm...@usl.edu
