Counterpoint(IMHO)

Well I don't know what your hardware consists of, but I have experienced
none of the problems you describe. I'll add that I'm running it on a
120 MHz Pentium. Is it possible your settings are too high given your
hardware, e.g. high res on a 486?

I run it in high resolution mode and can't complain. No atrocious load
and save times. I have no problems firing, in fact I can fire much faster
than the demo that was out on the net. "Death scenes" are basically
instantaneous for me. Steep learning curve, well, that's debateable.

I played the demo before I bought the game. I can only praise Delphine
for coming out with an innovative 3-D game in this time of "me too" DOOM
clones.
