Y'know, it amazes me. When Doom 2 came out everyone was upset about the
fact that they didn't let you look up or down, jump, and so on. However,
adding all of this means you HAVE to add more controls.

Fade To Black gives you a LOT of control over the character. You can
look around corners, shoot, throw a grenade, etc. You are also in a pure
3D world.

Now, I'll admit that F2B is not perfect and there are some things I would
like changed. However, too many commands is not one of them since it's
nice to have as much control over your character as possible. Were I to
ask for something it would be to lock into a perspective where you're
look from behind the characters head. The constantly changing views were
what made the game difficult for me to play.

Something else I'll point out is that the original Flashback was not
purely an action game. It was a game where you couldn't just go in with
guns blazing, clear a path and win the game. You had to think about what
you were doing and you had to think about the best way to engage a fight
before getting into the fight. The same thing held true for Out of this
World.

I, personally, look forward to this game. However, I would definatly NOT
recommend it to anyone that is looking for a pure action game since that
is not what it's intended for.
