Without a VLB video card, a DX4-100 would still have crappy frame rates (since you have an ISA vid card). And without a fast processor, a good video card couldn't receive video data fast enough to give good frame rates. You can always wait for a 3D accelerated video card to come out, but then again you would also have to wait for games to be recompiled to take advantage of the 3D acceleration hardware. I think you can do things in stages... Maybe the processor upgrade for now and the vid card later? Regards and clear skies, TRH Sends ________________________________________________________________ Thomas Russell Hong Columbia University in the City of New York Department of Biological Sciences email: th...@columbia.edu The W3 USNF Graphical Landing Tutorial on my WWW homepage: http://www.columbia.edu/~th34
