Case in point, Cybermage. Huge 9 meg Cybermage was just an early demo, none of us have seen the finished product. >I would have to go for WC3 being extremely over-rated. I disagree with you there. I have a 486dx266 with a shitty video card and I love WC3. So what if I can't play the action parts in SVGA? That's why Origin gave us a VGA mode. For the most part it runs pretty smooth on my system, and it's arguably the best space fighting game out there(with TIE Fighter the only other contender) >>demo. The game is pitifully slow on a Pentium 90 at high res with all >>detail on. And what's so special about it? Graphics are nothing exciting, >>and everything is still 90 degrees. Origin must think "well gee, it runs on a Pentium 133 >>so lets just leave it alone" instead of tweaking it and making sure that >>it runs just as well on the slower systems. I guess Origin is just afraid >>of hard work, they just want the money, that's all. Now I see Origin Like I said before, run it in a graphics mode suitable for your system, the VGA graphics aren't that bad.. David Paul
