In article <43cs8q$1...@Vir.com>, ra...@Vir.com says... >What I'd like to see added to the game: > >- overhead camera views >- the ability to drive the other way (with view inside the car) instead of > chase cam >- car crashes similar (or better) to Nascar where parts/engine/tires fly > everywhere. >- Race commentators (digitized speech) >- choosing between manual and automatic driving >- crowd voices/cheering/etc (digitized speech) >- rain / snowstorm weather >- Night driving >- the ability to re-fuel the car (and low fuel indicator) >- air bags for front collisions >- Police car road blocks/chases >From what I've read, the 3.7M Demo seems to be missing a lot. The large demo offered an options screen to configure such things as automatic/manual transmission, resolutions etc. There were plenty of options that were there but not enabled, including digitized speech (commentary?). I hear that the full game should have oncoming traffic as well as police cars. I'd personally like a little more driving space... I found the track in the large demo to be very narrow... very annoying when you're trying to master donuts! :^) Actually, I'd like to see the computer's cars react more realistically to collisions. Bumping or nudging them usually just slows them down... though I think I saw one flip after running into my stationary car once. -- Emilio Galasso University of Toronto: Computer Science eg...@msi.net bo...@torfree.net
