Actually, if I buy it and then take it back isn't that the same as not buying it at all? If so, all Sierra has done is given me a crappy game to play and then return when I'm finished(especially if it's short) for a complete refund if I keep the receipt. That's how you try before you buy in my area. Not all of us are blessed with Eggheads and rental places. That's for those who can't afford to buy the game at the moment. My point is that I haven't seen too many games lately from Sierra that are worth keeping. How can they be making money from that? : > : >I don't know what he solution is, honestly. Too easy. : It was also right on with what I was attempting to say in a round-about : way. : Put more simply, if you don't like a game, don't buy it. The only way : to know if you'll like it is to try it first, or read the reviews in : the newsgroups. Rather than complain about boycotting a company : because you don't like the game, other avenues should be explored first : to find out if the game is one you'd like. Again, this would be a good avenue if 1. I couldn't afford the game, 2. I had someplace close in my area to check out these games 3. I had 2-3 hours to check out these games in the store since you can't tell much from playing them for 10 minutes, and 4. If I wasn't reviewing the game for others. I'm sure all these reviewers on here wait 2-3 weeks before a game comes out. I don't think so. I buy early because I can and because I want to if I think it's supposed to be a good game or if it was really hyped up. If I don't like them, I take them back. My problem is that too many games these days are NOT worth keeping and I'm not the only one to announce that over the Internet. Something is wrong with some of these companies. : For Finality: GOOD LUCK ON YOUR BOYCOTT!!!! Good luck on finding a decent game that's worth the money. : My system works for me. I haven't "missed" any good releases. I've : bought the games that I like and haven't bought any that I wouldn't. I : will certainly be buying Front Page Sports Football Pro '96 when it's : released because it's the BEST football sim on the market. Geez, it's : even made by Sierra. Surprise, Surprise... No, I said Sierra..not Dynamix. Everyone who's anyone knows that FPSF was created by Dynamix before the greedy name change. What you find FUN is a Dynamix game. Dynamix is excellent and is probably the "kickstand" that;s holding Sierra up. In fact, I know it is.
