I mean, think about it. For the most part, Win95ers are going for an operating system that's really pretty to look at and is simple to install (Dos is simple to install, I'm still wondering how many are going for that OS). They don't care that other OS's are much more powerful, they've got their computer with a pretty GUI and that's all that matters. Now, doesn't it make sense that the same people that would spend $100 for an OS with bells and whistles but a Ford Escort Engine (turned upside down, instead of just sideways, no less) would think that Maxis and Stardock who, after trying the market with a single app, have opened up a whole line of products, actually lost money on those single apps and that is the reason why they are opening up entire lines.... Think about it.. these are the same people that, when given the choice of a pretty operating system this is 'fair' in performance, or an operating system that is superior (even most windows advocating mags admit this), doesn't it sound logical that the same people would think that a company who tests a market and loses money would invest more in that market????
