%I too have noticed the enemy's tendency to target me over any of my %starmates. Add to this the friendly mech's tendency to "dance" rather %than slag metal, and you soon start questioning the efficacy of adding friendly %tonnage to your star. Numerous times I've added a star mate and %wound up not getting as far into the mission as I'd gotten alone. --I only hope %those friendlies get demoted into the technician class after my demise. . . . %J. Dorgon Adam Yeah, I played almost all the way without the use of a Starmate as they usually were more of a hinderance than helpful. Infact the only time I used a starmate in the Wolf campaign was in the mission where you had to destroy the Hanger and the Aerospace fighters. Since once entering there were so many enemy mechs that all I havce to do is order him to fire at will. In the meantime I concentrate on completing the mission, after which only then to help out in the mopping up. I think I took a Timber Wolf with Maxed out armour, 4 MPLs, 1 ERPPC, and as much heat sinks I can squeeze in the mech. <grin> Regards.
