Since this in a gaming base area I'll talk about the advantages of Win95
over Win31 and why you should switch. First off it is much much more
backwards compatible with DOS games. Win95 was designed to accomodate
gamers and is much easier to program games for. Games will run faster not
slower in Win95. No longer will you have to worry about running boot
disks or a memory managers. It will stabilize and standardize drivers.
Which should make some of those non SB16 16-bit sound cards actually work
at 16 bit instead of defaulting down to SB compatible 8-bit. It makes it
easier for programers because they only have to program for a select few
windows drivers. Hopefully we will higher resolution games. It will
support and standardizes 3d Rendering Graphic Cards (soon to become a big
thing in the gaming world). Long file names are a good thing, not bad.
