Wing Commander III will run straight from Windows 95 - no need to exit to Single
Dos Application mode.
Select, Start, Run, d:\wc3
and it will install to your hard disk, WC3 defaults to full screen but it will run
on a 486SX2 66 with a cirrus logic gfx card and 8MB of RAM _from windows_
in case anyone is interested the benchmark results were CPU speed of 16 and gfx card
speed of 5 - exactly the same as when I installed it in DOS - oh yes you can even switch out of it back to the Windows shell and leave it running in the background!!!
There's a little colour clash while it is switching but aside from that it is fine.

I used OS/2 2.1 for about a month, got sick of having to use dual boot nearly every
time I wanted to play a game, got sick of OS/2's clunky response to windows programs
and deleted it after a month having decided it was crap.

When Warp came out I got the demo, decided to give it a try but it wasn't even
interested in installing, IBM helpware couldn't work out what the hell was going on
and I spent about 8 hours recovering the damage it had done to my system.
OS/2 is crap.
