I haven't laughed at so much from a TEAMER in weeks until I read this... bu...@cc.gatech.edu wrote: <snip> >It would be best if you stuck to a subject you know something about. I WOULD USE WINDOWS 95, AND CAN USE IT; >IT IS ON MY MACHINE!!; IT IS JUST NOT AS GOOD AS OS/2!!! I DON'T CARE IF >MICROSOFT IS A CRAPPY COMPANY, IF THEY MAKE A BETTER PRODUCT I WILL USE >IT!! UNTIL THEN I WILL USE OS/2!! I JUST LOOK AT FACTS!! The facts are that no one uses OS/2 on the desktop except a few "I hate Microsoft types!" . A business could fail if they devoted any heavy duty development to OS/2. IBM themselves are cutting back in trying to promote OS/2 to the mass market as seen by recent speechs by Lou G and others. What person is going to develope a GAME from a business server where IBm is trying to reposition the product? This Teamer is definitely a patient for Prosaic as Aug 24 and W95 nears. And he concludes with these WARPED figures. >By the way, that makes the score: >OS/2 Born Commercial Games - 7 >Win95 Born Commercial Games - 0 Ha HA Thanks.... Vic OS/2-> only half an PC OS the Windows 95 compatible part is missing Do you know someone who is WARPED? WARP: 1. to distort or cause to distort so as to lose truth or objectivity. 2. a mental twist, bias or quirk. 3. to distort a person's judgement or principals. - Oxford American Dictionary
