Well, "reality" and "Team OS/2" seem to have little in common. Say that
Windows 95 has better industry support and runs more apps, and they come
back with, "Well, it runs DOS and Windows AND OS/2, so it's got more
apps." One of them even claimed a million native OS/2 apps (yeah, right -
"Hey, Joe in accounting wrote a cool football pool manager in Visual
Rexx. That counts, right?").

Say that OS/2 is a failure, and they'll either cite the huge "installed
base" or say that those cruel unfair bastards at Microsoft don't play fair
(never thinking that perhaps IBM might have something to do with OS/2s
demise).

Face it: Windows 95 and Windows NT are better. Windows 95 has better
backwards compatibility, it's faster, it's MUCH easier to setup and use,
and it has better networking support built in. Windows NT is SMP,
portable, more robust, more secure, and has better networking support.

But these issues aside: Windows is far more succesful in the marketplace.
There's NO WAY you can claim that about OS/2. OS/2 is a failure. Look
what happened to OS/2s patron saint, Lee Reiswig.

It's over. Windows has won decisively. Get used to it.
