Hi,
sorry, I don't speak Polish, but it's the only NG (beside an italian
one) I've found for openoffice.
I've installed OpenOffice on a Mandrake 9.1
As root it starts without any problem but I can't launch it as user.
I've got only the applet "openoffice 1.0" runing and then... nothing :)
So I checked the path and figured to make a chown and a chgpr without
any result.
Any idea will be welcome.
You can even answer in french ;)
Merci

How did U install it? From rpm`s (You have it on CD`s and can install by
"urpmi openoffice" command afaik) or from .tar.gz? If second, You should
install by command "./install --net" or smth like that (read the manual,
tehere is an answer; i only remeber that it was smth with 'net' option)

"Bonjour, ca va; Je n`ais pas parle par Francais" or smth like that is
only words which I know in this "launge" ;) (and my english is not
better that french)

no can do ;-)

Did You run multiuser-mode instalation ? As Root:

../install/./Setup /net (or -net ;-)

select 'full installation'
and instalation path to /opt/openoffice or /usr/openoffice

Then logged as each user /opt/openoffice/sadmin, then select 'workstation
mode' (about 12MB size)

then, there should'nt be any problem with system privlidges.
