It didn't take long before I found the speed and element of danger it 
involved as exciting as she did.

Nie trwalo dlugo zanim odkrylam ze predkosc i element niebezpieczenstwa 
pociagnal za soba taka ekscytacje jak ona zrobila.

Dobrze to tlumacze?

IMHO zbyt dosłownie. Może lepiej coś w rodzaju: „Szybko zorientowałam się,
że szybkość i element zagrożenia w tym zawarte stały się dla mnie równie 
podniecające, co dla niej”.
