Hello everybody! I understand that this must be a newsgroup about horses, and I hope that sombody here might help me... I am the owner of dreamhorse.dk where we train and breed horses with gentle horsemanship. I am planning to buy abt. 20 young horses (no speciffic breed - just healthy) in Poland this summer but I don't know how to reach the private/amateur horse owners in Poland (not speaking Polish myself). Does anybody here have any advise? Or would anybody like to assist me in this matter? You can check out my website at www.dreamhorse.dk . Unfortunately not much of the site is yet in English. Thank you in advance! Hugs Lars Benzon

Hi Spook, thanks for your reply. I know far too little about Poland - so I wouldn't know in which region to go when there... All I know is that Poland is famous for good breeding and fair prices. Still all info welcome! "Wojciech "Spook" Sura" <spook.no@unwanted_mail.op.pl> skrev i en meddelelse news:dvjfut$7p$1@nemesis.news.tpi.pl... > Benz wrote: > (...) > > Where are you planning to go? There are quite a lot of them, but the problem is that most of them don't have the English version of website. I have found three stud farms you can try to contact with: http://www.bielin.pl/ http://www.palac-racot.pl/ http://www.kielnarowa.com/ If I find more stud farms with English websites I will write them here in this topic. You should have a look at the following websites: http://www.konski-targ.pl/ http://www.swiatkoni.pl/ They're dedicated to horse trading in Poland. You will find contact to many private breeders there as well as to bigger stud farms. -- Pawel Krawczyk -- Bolanda Kabardians endurance horses from Russia tel: +48 602 776959, fax: +48 12 4137714, http://kabardians.com/ callto://bolanda.net, jabber://kravietz@chrome.pl, gg:4856478

Użytkownik "Benz": > I know far too little about Poland - so I wouldn't know in which region to > go when there... Wou may try to look for Książ (ksiaz) on Google Earth to find it and it's GPS coordinates. Well, there is no Książ in Google Earth... But look at map24.com and search for Jezdziecka street in Walbrzych (this address is at Książ's webpage) to see where it is. Maybe we can do the same to recommend you some interresting places... So, you may look here: 53°54'37.23"N 14°35'31.58"E There is a little farm, where you would find some horses. They do like gentle horsemanskip too, so you would be satisfied. Their website is actually being designed, so I can put a phone number: +48 609 477 979 Another place to see is Agrofirma Witkowo (www.agrofirmawitkowo.pl), where you may find some tall horses with good papers, also not over-trained. See location at 53°16'55.04"N 15° 4'35.15"E Both places are easy to reach fom ferry port at Świnoujscie.

Thank you everybody. I got some good clues as to where to look. DAMN I wish I could speak Polish - it would make this project a lot easier... If I succeed, I will be looking for horses in Poland every year in the future. So I am certainly going to take Polish lessons! If any of you come up with new ideas - or stumble on good cheap 2 year-old horses or large ponies (or could help me find them) - please don't hesitate to contact me through my website www.dreamhorse.dk Once again, thanks everybody!
