To raczej nie rozwiązanie a proteza. Spróbuj dodać do /etc/fstab
taką linijkę (w terminalu: sudo gedit /etc/fstab):

/dev/sr1	/mnt/tmp	noauto	0	0

Katalog /mnt/tmp wcześniej utwórz (w terminalu: sudo mkdir /mnt/tmp)

I pamiętaj - każde wydanie Ubuntu poza LTS traktuj jak betę :).
