hmm... więc tak:
sprawdziłam powyższe linki, jedna z rad była aby zainstalować
915resolution, co umożliwi ustawienie rozdzielczości na 1280x764-> na
tej rozdzielczości bez problemu pracuje teraz mój laptop.
Chciałam sprawdzic podane tam ustawinia do xorg.conf dla p7120, ale po
tym X-sy w ogóle nie wystartowały.
W dalszym ciągu nie wiem jak ustawić ten zewnętrzny monitor na
1600x1200...
