Hi Rui, 
I'd suggest use RJ45 interface wherever possible. The RJ45 or ethernet
interface is kind of "generic", very much universal, while USB may need
some proprietary drivers which might be hard to install, especially if you
are "new convert" to Linux. 
Then use Mandrake Control Center -> Internet&Network -> DrakConnect wizard
and set up you broadband connection. You may need to obtain some details
from your ISP. 
We can't help you if you only say "still not working". Please be more
specific, describe what you did, and at what stage you get errors.
