The default Mandrake installation option is to remove XP adn use 
all  available space for Mandrake. So keep an eye out for this 
question in the install sequence. I think if you leave the second 
drive empty and choose "use available space" instead of "replace 
windows" then you should be OK there.

The default install for the bootloader is to replace the windows 
bootloader on drive C with LILO, which is a bootloader that 
offers you a choice of eitehr windows or mandrake to boot into. I 
think the default (but configurable) is a 10-second timeout 
before it boots mandrake anyway. This will probably do nicely for 
you.
