postgresql z paczek - brak konfiguracji

Witam
apt-get install postgresql 
instaluje, instaluje dodatkowe pakiety wynikające z zależności, ale nie
tworzy mi konfiguracji /etc/init.d - brak skryptów startowych
/etc/postgresql - pusty plik .conf
/etc/postgresql-common - pusty katalog.
CO jest?? :)

cos mi swita ze nie postgresql, a jest pgsql jest stosowany.
