Hi:
We have pulled our old copy of X-Com 1 but have a couple of problems:
1. Last time we played the game, it was on a 386 - on our pentium the
sound is making a loud snapping noise - has anyone had the same problem
and if so, is there a patch?
2. We have lost most of our page reference codes that are needed to play the
game. Is there a site with a download of the codes or would anyone be kind
enough to e-mail us a copy?
Thanks for any help.
Curt.

It might work on the sound too but I'm not sure. Run a search for it and you should find it. -Shaun

Go and get the upgrade patch from Microprose's website. (It does replace some sfx tho. Not very nice). It will remove the code requests. 2. Get the latest XCOMUTIL and use it to patch the difficulty bug as well as remove the code requests. (It doesn't tamper with the sfx)
