Yeah, It has been a while, and there is not that much happening.
I have not bought Interceptor yet, and have no intention
of buying it anytime soon. This might appear to be a
Non-Xcom-Fanly attitude, but hey what can I say.
I am disappointed in the direction Xcom has taken,
though the future seems brightly painted with Xcom6.
Yes, it is so great it's hard to grasp.
Xcom will be returning to the so beloved
Tactical Squad Combat formula,
which made the game series what it was.
The best SciFi strategy title ever.
Dave Ellis (working on Xcom6) returned a mail to me,
stating that they have found a name for Xcom6,
but for obvious reasons cant go public with it yet.
Also he answered my question about Xcom6 being
a Turned Based game like the original,
Real-time, or both options included like in Apocalypse? with this:
"We're examining the turn based/real time issue as we speak"
This is pretty interesting, because one of my favourite options
with Apocalypse was the ability to play Real-time.
In fact I'm not ashamed to say that I liked it even better
than the Turn Based way to take on the game.
+++End of Report+++
So, who said all was lost, huh? Mark Rich??? ;-)
I just wish I could find out who this XCOManiac is, so we could try to
organise some input for XCOM6!
Okay, so do we now start to email MPS US for answers?

Just a quick update - the author of the XCOManiac site names himself as Stig
Helge Westerheim, who lives in
SouthWestern Norway
Any help in locating this individual would be greatly appreciated [And
please, don't tell me he lives in Norway - I figured that one out all on my
own :-P ]
