Unlimited money in interceptor???

I'm not sure if this a bug or a design flaw...

I'm playing interceptor on experienced level. Tachyon Pulsers are
195,000 to buy and 300,000 to sell. All I do is buy and sell them
constantly and I have unlimited funds.

Does anyone know if this is deliberate or whether the price difference
is less at higher difficulty levels?

I don't know wether it's a bug or a flaw, but unlimited funds have always
been available. In UFO & TFTD you have always been able to manufacture stuff
at a price which is much lower than the sell value. I don't know if this is
also the case in Apocalypse, though (I only got it 2 days ago).

But at least in those games you had to pay for engineers and it took a
while to manufacture things for sale. In interceptor there are no
overheads for people or facilities, you just buy a Tachyon Pulser for
200,000, it arrives within a couple of days and you immediately sell
it for 300,000. repeat ad infinitum. I am now buying and selling them
fifty at a time for 5,000,000 profit each time. I can make tens of
millions per month.

The only way I can see to avoid this is only to sell weapons I
captured or those which are obselete. It may be that this easy money
making is part of the game but at the moment it's ruining it. What's
the point of tracking money if you never run out of it. I may as well
just order everything for free.
