Do any of the X-Com games show the player his soldier's line of sight?
IIRC they show the areas that have been seen but don't give the player
any way of knowing what areas his guys are covering. Can anyone think of
any other vital strategy elements missing from the games?

Maybe it is important for setting ambushes, you probably want to know
what area can your sniper sweep with reaction fire.

It's also annoying in Apocalypse when you think you have a UFO covered
but then a bunch of aliens come out of the smoke that you thought you
could see through.
