I got my copy of Aftermath a week ago and I still can't play it. It starts fine, but when I leave either the strategic view in a normal game or the tactical view in the tutorial, when I return the entire map is trashed. All of the polygons are corrupted. Since the program seems to use the polygons for hit testing, the corrupted map is now unusable. For example, my soldier can't move because he is blocked by these random polygons of terrain. Has anyone else seen or heard of this problem? Some arguable balance issues aside, it's one of the least buggy games I've seen in a while. Maybe I'm just lucky (though not usually). ...which doesn't help the original poster much. Warren

I guess you've got the latest Catalyst drivers? And the 1.2 patch seems to help with stability. I'm on xp, so I doubt I can help much. Perhaps setting your desktop res to 1024*768 would help. Although (to state the bleedin' obvious) it sounds like a 3d problem..... directX settings? *Satis Don't get hurt.

I got annoying game freezes, mostly right after soldiers report-in for new orders, often not even managing to say the whole phraze and scratching like broken record on same circle
