i LOVE raiding the cult of sirus.

(it's been a while since i've played Apoc, so i have fergotten some terms.)
when i go in there, i deck out all my guys with DUAL autocannons and i load
them to the brim with incenidory (fire) ammo.
i set them to autofire, and play a NON-turnbased game.

there is near nothing left of the place after i am through with it.  sending
in 10+ guys into a raid, they use these autocannons like machineguns,
explosions are everywhere.  it's crazy.  it's sadistic.   it's damn fun.

what are your techniques?   >:-)

I would equip my people with the same items there, as for any
battle....expect for maybe leaving the toxigun weapons home ( don't remember
how effective they are vs humans ).

As the game progresses, the Cult seems to get better equipment ( I think? ),
so it's not exactly the equivalent of tanks vs rocks.

Sometimes I loose money when hitting the place; I use up $ in ammo than I
get from selling the retrieved goodies.

1. Trap/guard exits.
2. get psyclone
3. start throwing Diablo grenades.
4.listen to screams
5. wait until the place looks like an ashtray
6. leave

I use new recruits with fairly crappy guns a lot. The idea is to get a cheap
thrill off of the cult. Spending very little to cost them millions, plus I reap
experience and actually make cash on loot.

I get a sadistic bump out of it too.
