Is it just me, or does the "fish" in the first photo bear a striking
resemblance to our slithery Dimension Spawn enemies?

yeah i know hey. it's so sweet when they send expeditions to find new DEEP
SEA life. coz we know almost nothing about down there. there is entire
ecosystems we have no idea about. i love watching the documentaries about
em.

i always thought the hyperworms were modeled after bloodworms though (you
know the worms that live in sand, you can use em for bait). and on that
topic, you know those 4 little fangs/teeth bloodworms have on their mouth?
they are the strongest organic substance known to man. cool huh

hey cool! this jellyfish thing passed me by, in the news i mean. i wasn't
swimming and it floated by otherwise i'd be screaming still.
i saw an approx 1meter cubed live jellyfish (swimming near a scubadiver) in
a photo a few days ago. i could scan it and upload it somewhere, but i'm
sure it's already online somewhere and google could hunt it down.

Anyone seen any real ones? Just the one for me, only about four inches
long but quite cute. Never seen any Tasoth, I mean Seahorses, though, nor
any Lobstermen in the wild.

Once when I was four I picked one up at the beach and brought it back
to my dad. I didn't know what it was and it looked like glass turned
into Jell-o to me. Fortunately I grabbed it by the top but when my dad
saw what I was holding he simply scared the hell out of me with a
scream and threw it away from my hand. I never forgot the incident :)

hey cool, this was just on teh nighttime news here. they said it was
probabaly an octopus though. and from the closeup footage i could say that
it is definitely NOT a jellyfish, coz they cut a cube outof it for a sample
and it was pinky flesh underneath a few inches of blubber.

Jellyfish? We have billions of non poisonous ones. When I used to row at
school we would have fights with them.

Hmm remember that submarine that looks a lot like a prototype Barracuda?
Maybe there really is a giant alien colony ship down there.

Some months ago I read a news article either on CNN or BBC of how the
US Navy keeps picking up strange noises on the ocean on their sonars
that they have no idea of what it is but suspect that they are of a
biological nature.
Maybe something is out there...
