And not any funky new shit multiplayer! I want X-Com 1 turn based... I wanna be able to go against a buddy as the aliens for once, or even just a X-Com vs. X-Com skirmish! It'd take what? A week for some of the coders at Microprose to release and IPX or TCP/IP patch for X-Com 1 that had some manner of head to head combat in it. That's my gripe. Ufo.

bugs in the program and saved games, and even switch sides with the enemy to
allow two-player battles. It is also capable of preloading equipment and

Well, I tried the XCOMUTIL patch a few months ago. I was all excited, yay yay multi player XCOM. However, as it turns out, its kind of a drag. You have to play hot seat style, and you have to reload the game every turn, because you have to turn on the patch to play the aliens turn, and turn it off to play the XCOM turn. Also, since you never technically finish the turn, you just reload after all the guys have moved, you never have grenades go off, cause the counter depends on turns ending. So, it's kind of a pain. -Jakob

Thanks Jakob.
Thanks for Informing us of your experiance with the
XCOMUTIL patch. Its pretty sad really because I had such high hopes for It.
At the moment I am using the ClarkWehyr Editor Suite v1.00.(c), wich you can
down load for free at: http://members.iquest.net/~rclark/freeware.html
If you have not tried this one dont worry Its pretty cool, sadly though
theres no two player, but Its still worth having.

Does this one fix the difficulty bug in UFO, that XCOMUTIL does?
